Jurmala Full Day Tour
Discover the fascinating history and natural beauty of the greater Jurmala area on this amazing full day tour!
I will pick you up from your hotel in Riga or Jurmala. We will drive to the Jurmala Open Air Museum in Lielupe to see historic fishing boats and fishermen's houses, and enjoy a walk in the iconic pine forest.
Next we visit the centre of Jurmala for a walking tour. We explore genteel summer cottages, Soviet sanatoriums, beautiful churches, and of course the beach. There will be an opportunity to have coffee and a Latvian pastry during the tour.

Our next stop in Ķemeri. We stroll through the lovely park surrounding the magnificent sanatorium, before heading for lunch to "Dare atpūties pļavā," an organic farm inside Kemeri National Park. At the farm, we will enjoy dishes prepared from flowers and herbs gathered from meadows on the property. This is possibly the most local, seasonal and organic meal you will ever enjoy and it tastes great, too.
On the return trip to your hotel in Riga or Jurmala, we will stop at Ragaciems fish market and taste traditional smoked fish.
The daytrip runs for 6 hours. The price is 140 euros per person (maximum 4 people). This includes transportation, museum entry, guide services and lunch. Please bring some cash for coffee and pastries and souvenirs from "Vidnieki" farm.
