Latvia's seaside resort offers visitors an unforgettable blend of good times and getting back to nature.

On this full day tour by car and on foot, I will show you the diverse delights of Jūrmala, from unique ecosystems to stunning architecture and beautiful beaches. I'll also bring along a picnic lunch of tasty Latvian specialities.

I will pick you up from your hotel in Riga or Jūrmala.

At our first stop, we will do the walking trail through Ķemeri Bog. This is a unique habit with rare forms of vegetation, including insect-eating plants. We will climb the observation tower for amazing views.

The trail takes about one hour to complete with a moderate level of activity.

We then drive to Ķemeri spa, whose sulphur springs and mud baths are renowned for their healing effects. We will see the magnificent 1930s hotel (from outside as it is being renovated), and the beautiful surrounding park.

We will also climb the observation platform housed in Ķemeri's old water tower for more fantastic views. There is a small museum inside recounting the history of Ķemeri spa.

Next, we drive to the centre of the resort for a walking tour, taking in the beautiful Orthodox church, Dzintari Concert Hall and delightful timber houses.

Then we head to the beach, where we will have our picnic lunch.

Our final stop is the Open Air Fishing Museum at the eastern end of Jūrmala. I will guide you around the historic fishing boats and cottages, then we will take a walk through the pine forests of Ragakāpa Nature Reserve

I will pick you up and bring you back to your hotel in Riga or Jūrmala.
The tour runs for 6 hours. The price is 170 euros per group plus an additional 10 euros per person (maximum 6 people). This includes transportation, entry fees, guide services and lunch.
